Sue's Solar, Sue and Barry, want to show you some fun, creative ideas using an 'old' craft and a 'new' craft. The old craft, called cyanotype, is using the sun to print, with chemicals. It is a photographic term meaning a white print on a blue background. The 'new' craft is using the sun to make your own silkscreens. Not a big investment in equipment, or space, there are so many ideas for your own screens. And hopefully, you'll see our ideas and get inspired. Plus, both crafts look great together, whether you use them on garments, quilts, paper, glass, etc.
