Sue and Barry are the previous owners of Sue's Sparklers. We sold the business in May '07, and proceeded to enjoy the next 2 years. It was fun to go somewhere in the middle of the day, and not have to rush to work, just kick back and enjoy. But, that can be dangerous when you both love shopping! Then, I (Sue) found out that my heart murmur was serious (something I didn't even know I had until I was 37 plus I had no symptoms) and I had open heart surgery in Dec. '07. The good news is that they could repair it, not replace (which would have entailed another operation 15 years later) and I'm good to go. The day I was released from the hospital we stopped at the 99cent store and shopped. Hey, we needed stuff!

We have tried for the last 2 years to make the blue-printing and silkscreening work, but it just wasn't happening. It has now been 5 years and we are allowed to go back in to the business of iron-on sparklers. New business, need a new name - Sue's Studs. Where before I got calls about solar panels, I can only imagine what the phone calls will be about this time. But, I don't think I'm cut out for an escort service. We have loved seeing our old customers and now we can get back to what we know so well. Check us out and let us know what designs you'd like to see.
